According to Tim, Gemma was “top notch, she got better all day and did everything I asked of her”. She had two very good heats, putting her on grid 10 for the Prefinal which she then translated into 4th.

Starting on 4th for the Grand Final, Gemma made up a place to 3rd but got caught up in the inevitable wheelbanging in a one-off Junior Max race.
