Gemma qualified 10th, third in her group. She had two good heats, which put her on Grid 11 for the A Final, but she was taken out at the notorious first hairpin after an excellent start. She worked her way up to 11th by the chequered flag but was disappointed only to finish where she started as she was much quicker than most of the drivers in front of her.
