Jamie Brown had three good heat results but was disqualified from the last heat after a racing incident. His appeal wasn’t upheld so he had the hurdle of the B Final to get through. Jamie started 6th and a strong drive took him to 2nd to qualify for the main races. In the Prefinal he went from the back to 15th, then in the Grand Final he had a flying start up to 7th then was taken out and finished as last on the track.

Luke Gardiner, in his first major race with the team, was quick enough but was wiped out through no fault of his own in the first one and ended up in the B Final. From grid 16 in the B Final he unfortunately got caught up in an accident in front of him and finished 18th.

Jake Foster struggled to find the speed needed to reach his potential but despite this he finished 4th in one heat and gained ten places to 14th in another one. He started on pole for the B Final but finished 5th, the worst position possible in a race where for go through to the next stage!
