Jake Foster

Jake’s pace was respectable during the two days testing, but the Intrepid driver lit up on Sunday morning. By the third heat he was leading with his team-mate Jamie Brown close behind, but a lunge from behind Jamie wrecked his race and put him back into the B Final. He finished 3rd in the B Final, from Grid 6, then finished 22nd in the A final from one of the last places on the grid.

Jamie had tyre problems during testing, but as with his fellow Minimax driver he hit much better form in the heats. His second heat brought a respectable top-ten finish from a back of the grid start, then as mentioned above he was second in Heat 3 when taken out through no fault of his own. He won the B Final then unfortunately was wiped out at the start in the A Final and couldn’t make any progress after that and finished 27th. However, he did better than his dad this weekend, who was competing in a rally and managed to roll his car!
