Parrott Back on Form at Shenington Jason Parrott regained his past form in Round 2 of the British Kart Championship at the weekend, with a win and a second place at Oxfordshire’s Shenington circuit.
A difficult Saturday test day ended on a positive note after the team made some changes to the equipment, enabling Jason to qualify fourth on the grid. In the heats, he was consistent and fast, and although he didn’t post a victory he took advantage of non-finishes from his rivals to start on pole for the first of the two finals.

Jason battles to 4th in Formula A Super 1 Jason Parrott 4th and 7th positions in this weekend's British Kart Championship double-header, despite struggling with an underpowered engine and a lack of testing in the UK over the winter. The race took place at the Three Sisters circuit near Wigan, a track so fast it's also used for car racing, so any engine problems would be exposed.

Jason’s season kicks off at Three Sisters Jason Parrott will start off his British Kart Championship campaign this weekend after competing in two season-opening races in Italy.
At the first, the Winter Cup at Garda, Jason was fast all weekend only to be struck by mechanical gremlins at the start of the semi-final. Last weekend, at the Margutti Trophy in Parma, he was in the top five all day but was hit from behind at the start, putting him a lap down and out of contention.
