Sam was midfield in testing but for timed practice he lit up and took pole for the first time in 2006. He was second in Heat 1, 7th in Heat 2 and 10th in Heat 3, starting from the front, middle and back of the gridd respectively which put him 4th on the grid for the final.

The rain was worse for the Final and his valve was ripped out in an incident. He came in after nine laps but his results throughout the year put him in 8th in the championship which is the number he will race with in 2007.

Adam qualified 19th after not having been to Buckmore for several years, but in his first two heats finished 6th and 12th starting from the back. He failed to finish his final heat when water got into his airbox.

Starting from grid 24 in the final Adam quickly progressed to 17th but like Sam, the valve was pulled ot of one of his tyres during racing and he also had to pull out after nine laps. He finished the season 19th out of 72 competitors.
