At the Christmas Meeting Matt Mason had his first Senior Max race and did brilliantly well, finishing second in the Grand Final after making up eight places from his grid position.

Rotax 177 driver Lewis Turner also went very well and was one of two drivers on the track who was very much faster than the rest, but he got caught up in an accident at the start of the Prefinal and then had a hard job to recover to third in the Grand Final.
