Tim Parrott Motorsport is one of the most successful Rotax Max teams in the paddock, both in the UK and internationally, with team drivers in all Max classes – all of whom are a force to be reckoned with because of the infectious drive within the whole team to win. Tim and Jason Parrott are always on hand to give advice on whatever aspect of winning needs attention on and off the track, whether it is setup, race craft and especially the driver’s mindset and confidence. The team also comprises a small group of handpicked mechanics and data analysis specialists, all of whom are experienced in getting the best from drivers and machines.

Success knows no short cuts as current Rotax 177 driver Florent Lambert can testify:

“I do not believe in coincidence as most success has nothing to do with luck and this is no coincidence that we have hit the front row twice in the last two Super Ones, this is thanks to constant pushes to improve my driving and thanks to an always perfect kart prep pre-event.”

Matt Mason made huge progress during 2008, with his first race wins in Stars of Tomorrow and Super One Minimax.

“2008 was my first full year with the team and I have had my best set of results ever, had the most enjoyable karting year of my life so far (made possible by the team) and I have enjoyed the atmosphere, the great hospitality, the team setup, the advice and help, the fun, the laughter, the great results and racing. In a nutshell Tim Parrott Motorsport, in one year, has helped me improve so so much, and reach some of my great ambitions. It is a family team, in which we retrieve great results and thoroughly enjoy ourselves. In my opinion it’s one of the best teams out there. I look forward to Senior Max in 2009 boys!”

The team took Sam Bennett to the Super One championship and despite moving on from karting he remains a huge fan.

“I spent four years with Tim Parrott Motorsport racing in Minimax, Junior Max and Senior Max. I found the team to be very knowledgeable in all three classes where they guided me to four top ten overall finishes in national championships, including winning the Junior Max series in 2005. The Championship was won largely due to the help of the team with kart and carburetion setup. However they are especially helpful with driving and racing tuition that Jason and Tim provide. The environment in the awning was very warm and there was always someone around to help if there were any problems. Both Jason and Tim are very friendly people who seem to always have an answer or solution to any problem.”

2007 Senior Rotax Max driver Tom Arme said:

“The minute I set foot in the team was when I realised what my 2005 Junior Max campaign was missing. Jumping back into karts from cars was very hard to adjust to and lack of testing added to this problem. However, Tim Parrott Motorsport worked with me in such a way that they managed to extract the most out of me and the kart and by the “Rotax Super 1 Shakedown” and the first round of “Rotax Super 1”, I was running up the front gaining 2nd on the grid at the “Rotax Super 1 Shakedown” and qualifying 2nd at the first round of “Super 1.”

The secret to success according to the Parrotts is hard work, determination to win and leaving nothing to chance combined with the massive advantage they have – decades of experience running in almost every kart class. Success comes when these elements are put together consistently and that is the speciality of Tim Parrott Motorsport.

Two drives are still available for the 2009 season in any class except 177 for drivers with sensible budgets, please call Tim on 07711 603635 or Jason on 07761 822281 to find out more.
