Lewis Turner had a third in his first heat after a difficult start and took fastest lap, then in heat 2 Lewis again took third place after being involved in an accident in the start, and again took fastest lap. For the Final he started 2nd, after the first start was red flagged due to an accident. He took took the lead on lap three after being pushed out on the second hairpin, then he was chased down by the experienced Dave Griffiths and held a constant gap until the penultimate lap when he dropped a wheel wide at post five which allow Griffiths through. Never the less he drove well and the lead two were in a league of their own.
